In October of 2013 I had the honor of receiving the Silver Circle Award from the Midwest Chapter of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences in St. Louis. My sponsor was former WCIA Anchor/Reporter and University of Illinois journalism professor John Paul (pictured)


I received the Illinois Broadcasters Silver Dome Award for Medium Market Best TV Anchor for 2017.

In June of 2016 I had a chance to meet and talk with Dick Van Dyke when he visited Danville. After living in the Danville area since 1977, I finally met Danville's Favorite Son!

The 2019 Balloons Over Vermilion was the 4th successful event in this most recent series of Hot Air Balloon events in Danville, Illinois.

FOX-Champaign participated in the 2019 Champaign "Night of Lights Parade" on Saturday, Nov 30th. Here the staff and family members walked the parade in downtown Champaign.
